3 Week Summer Intensive

July 9 - July 27, 2012

The annual Summer Intensive is designed for serious dance students. Laura Faria Sciortino leads an outstanding faculty comprised of world-renowned instructors and choreographers, providing a complete summer dance program that is challenging, and rewarding. Class size is limited allowing personal attention to each student, with a strong emphasis on refining each student’s ballet technique. Exposure to various dance disciplines such as modern, jazz, hip-hop, ballroom, African, musical theater, floor barre, yoga, pointe, classical variations, student choreography, stage make-up, costume design, studio etiquette, and injury prevention will allow students to exercise their creativity and will develop healthy versatile dancers, in a friendly, encouraging and disciplined atmosphere. To ensure proper level placement, students not already enrolled at Turning Pointe must schedule an audition class or send an audition dance video. Students may choose from 1, 2, or 3 weeks of the program.

 

 

Beginner Level* Ages 8-11
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday	1:30 PM - 4:00 PM
$150 Per Week OR $430 for all 3 weeks
*The Artistic Director will make all final decisions regarding level placement. Please speak with the Artistic Director to inquire if your child is ready for this program.

 

 

Intermediate/Advanced Level* Ages 10-Teen
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday	9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
$240 Per Week OR $700 for all 3 weeks
*The Artistic Director will make all final decisions regarding level placement. Please speak with the Artistic Director to inquire if your child is ready for this program.
